The Definition of "Vital" from the Merriam-Webster dictionary:

Initiated as an ongoing resource to aid church leaders in navigating the challenges of ministry during the pandemic, Vital Conversations seek to offer contemporary, meaningful, conversations with leaders and creators. We hope these 1-hour ‘talks’ will offer insight, inspiration, or wisdom to promote life – of our churches, our communities, our people, our world. We host these interviews on Zoom for a live digital audience. They are also available through video recordings and audio recordings.
February's Vital Conversation: What Is Whiteness? And Why/How We Need To Talk About It In Church
Thursday, February 17, 2022 at 11:30 am (MST)
Think Critical Race Theory is controversial these days? Just wait until you bring up Critical Whiteness Theory! What exactly is “whiteness”? How does it impact all our identities, our relationships, our society…our church? And, how in the world do we have respectful, honest dialogue about it in ways that lead to justice-seeking practices?
Join the Rev. Betty Nguyen as she welcomes the Rev. Rebecca (Becky) M. David Hensley to Vital Conversations as they discuss what whiteness is and why and how we need to talk about it in church.
You are invited to view the recordings of previous Vital Conversations on the Mountain Sky Conference Vimeo channel.
